This intimate wedding at Gervasi Vineyard during the 2024 solar eclipse was one of those moments you just know will never happen the same way again. The kind of day where time slows down and you realize you’re witnessing something truly rare! Nicole and Shaun started there day with some time together with a first look and portraits. Then they joined their family for a beautiful ceremony in the conservatory.
A Wedding Timed with the Sky

From the very beginning, this day was about meaning. About choosing a moment that symbolized alignment, once-in-a-lifetime timing, and a love that feels bigger than the everyday.
Portraits in Front of the Eclipse
Photographing the couple in front of the eclipse was something I will never forget.
We had 30 seconds at our exact location of full totality. As a photographer I researched and prepared the best way to photograph the eclipse quickly with the couple in the foreground and the eclipse happening in the sky. I had a camera on a tripod focused on the eclipse while I was holding a camera with a wide lens to include the couple and the eclipse. There was a lot to juggle with the eclipse glasses, not looking directly at the eclipse, while it got very dark, also while making sure I was getting what I needed in camera. All within 30 seconds! It was a challenge but I was excited for it and I am really happy with how the photos turned out but most of all the couple is happy!
